Most Filipinos would love to travel outside the Philippines especially when a travel visa is not required. There are less than 40 countries Filipinos can visit and most of these are the neighboring countries in Southeast Asia, some countries in South America, and in South Africa. If you are a Philippine passport holder, check out below the updated list of countries that are visa-free with conditions posted next to the name of the country.

hi po..gusto ko lng po mag tanong kung ano po ba ang kylngan ng imigration saten kung gusto ko po mag punta ng hongkong sa loob ng 3 araw..maraming salamat po…
were a same question…kala ko madali lang magpunta ng bangkok thailand, sabi nga nila u can visit there without visa, pero bakit po pagdating ng immigration e’ di po ako pinatuloy pag alis? kasama ko po boyfriend kung forienger…. hfffffffffffmmmmmmmmmmm!!!! realy bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and i so realy upset about this thing!!!!!!!!!
No idea.
galing na ko ng hk at thailand wala namang visa required….
i just went to HK last June of 2011..we had no problem going there, though some of the passengers that were supposed to board for HK did not make it through the embassy..i think it depends on the supporting papers that u will present to them..they asked me about my purpose in going there, work here, some id’s and the money i will bring..lucky for me that i made it through the embassy..some of my friends say that the embassy here is even more strict that the embassy in HK..weird but true..i’m planning for my next travel destination..and i hope there will be no problem too.
tama been in thailand, macau, and hongkong no visa required aman…
Kasi gustong magkapera yung immigration officer et al. wala kang sinabi kung bakit di ka pinaalis…as a tourist you have the right to travel anywhere basta di kailangan ang visa…
been to Bangkok Thailand with my foreign bf too, he went there first, then sumunod ako, the problem is at first, immigration here in the Phil. did not allow me, The fact that We have our hotel reservation, and I can show them enough found (show money), still they want a proof na bf ko nga yung nag aantay sakin sa bangkok, Luckily, because of desperation and I know I have the rights to travel, I argued with them, and hindi ako umalis ng embassy though they are saying I cant go anymore.. At the end, I won and they let me pass, I was the last passanger to take a sit in the airplane, kala ko naiwan na ako.. And this is only happening here in the Phil. Been to hongkong also then from Hongkong I went straight in Singapore, and they did not even asked me a single question, as long as I have hotel reservation..
I’ve been to hongkong Jan.2010, u just need to pay tax nothing else, no need for visa.
kung 3 days lang it means tour ka lang. so dpat meron kang proof na mag tour ka lang talaga. the reason bakit mahigpit ang HK is because of drug carriers. ung iba nman hndi n bumabalik ng pinas, nag TNT na. so dpat may proof ka n mag tour ka lng tlga for 3 days. like return ticket or booking sa hotel, or itenerary like gsto mo pumuntang HK disneyland. ^_^ this is based on my experienced. goodluck :0

Nice blog. I got a lot of good data. I’ve been following this technology for awhile. It’s interesting how it keeps changing, yet some of the core components remain the same. Have you seen much change since Google made their latest acquisition in the domain?
I traveling with Filipino passport with Canadian visa to Canada via Tokoyo to Newark, Liberty then Toronto. Do I need a US visa for while in transit to USA. I won’t be leaving the airport, just a lay-over for the next flight.
I don’t think you do. As I know, there is what we call transit visa. But I know this is for people who will leave the airport and stay in the United States before going to the next destination, so you don’t need this..
If you are really anxious about it, read more about transit visa here: http://travel.state.gov/visa/temp/types/types_4383.html
You can contact the US embassy in your current country if you are still doubtful.

Hi !
India has and is growing big in every industry found there and as such, many types of services are now required especially in the affluent sectors such as in the Indian flim Industries to name a few.
In this regard, services in the entertainment sectors are fast becoming of great demand especially in the massage and escort areas where one can expect to make about five thousand Singapore dollars a month after expenses with ease.
Therefore, If any Phillipinas are interested in checking this out, are most welcome to contact me to gain access to these sectors.

No visa. Confirmed.
Costa Rica is way down in south America. same goes with haiti and saint vincent. The only countries in north America are Canada and USA. And both requires visa for Philippine passport holders
Xmark, Wikipedia is my source for listing Costa Rica, Haiti, and Saint Vincent in North America… http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_sovereign_states_and_dependent_territories_in_North_America.
If you don’t prefer Wikipedia as a source, you may want to check with National Geographic as well.
http://travel.nationalgeographic.com/travel/continents/north-america/
I suggest you check out the map.
Costa rica is in north America! Study your geography!
Costa Rica is not in North or South America….it is in-between…in Central America…a safe country…for now.
Hi hello,
I just want to ask you about applying tourist visa in australia.and what are the requirements needed for tourist visa.thanks
Thanks for this Ms. Rhea!
Hi! Does anyone knows what are the requirements of going to Thailand. At the moment i’m here in Dubai and i want to visit a friend in Thailand. Thanks!
Hi po ms. Rhea ask lang if how much show money is required po when travelling thailand for 2-3weeks.ty
no idea po
tingin ko no need for show money. as long as u have a proof na babalik ka ng pinas..
the truth is south east asian countries like Phil, thailand, malaysia ,singapore, indonesia brunei, vietnam , cambodia burma etc dont need visa from each country, you dont need visa to go to these countries above because these countries have agreement. thats sad that u were treated like that. next time u tell them that u are not required. faith

Hi,
this is a very interesting and useful info. i’ve been trying to google info but couldnt find it.maybe you can help me or direct me to a site with my quesiton. If I am a US h1b visa holder and i want to take a cruise to italy, spain, coratia and greece. do you know if i still need a visa for each country? any info would be much appreciated. thanks
no need to have a visa for each country as it’s all part of europe. But yes, u have to have a visa to enter europe. the h1b wont work unless u have a stable job in the US, show money, and a letter of invitation from your family or friends in europe.
I’m a Canadian working and living in Hong Kong with my Filipino fiancé and our daughter. We are planning to visit Canada this summer for 4 – 6 weeks. Is it difficult to get a visa? How long does it take? Do we just apply for a tourist visa for him, our daughter has a Canadian passport. Any advice how to go about this. It looks so complicated when I searched for the application. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Take care.
Why Cuba is not included? Visa is not needed, only a permit entry of which the airline/ travel agency will provide you with. When arriving Cuba, you can ask them not to stamp your passport.
When in South America, flights from Peru, Panama, or Venezuela and other nearby countries are available. Need not go to countries asking visa even for transit, ie Mexico
no need for visa for Mexico if you have US visa.
Hi there!
Anybody knows kung san po may visa assistance papuntang Taiwan at Japan as tourist lang po. Hi Ms. Rhea, I am planning to have a tour in Hanoi, Vietnam. Aside from no visa requirement for Filipinos, may i ask what possible documents do i need to prepare during the travel. My passport is already ready. Can i buy ticket straight (of course presenting my passport) , just to make there will be no problem on my travel. Looking forward hearing from u soon. Big thanks.
Yes, you can buy your round trip tickets and reserve a hotel room during your stay. If you want further information, just call 63-(2)-525 283763-(2)-521 6843.
Please call this number ((632) 5216843) for more information (embassy of Vietnam in the Philippines)
