Immigrated to US
I have moved in US since November last year. It is quite an exciting ride. I have a lot of first experiences and have met a lot of people. Now, I am looking for a job!

Congratulations but it’s a tough time to find a job of your choice in the States. Our daughter graduated last May 2009 so I have been researching employment stats etc and found that even 2008 grads have not yet found jobs after 18 months. And with each 1% rise in unemployment from normal levels that new graduates’ starting salaries go down by 6% so luckily our daughter found a job 2 weeks after graduation but she’d amde the sam wage during summer holidays in high school 5 to 6 years before when she was only 16 and 17. GOOD LUCK to YOU! On a more positive note, I read “Rich Dad Poor Dad” and it explained when one has NO MONEY their mind works better, more creatively and sometimes if they allow themselves to follow their instincts they prosper far beyond those with a safe secure salary job.

Hi AsiaBill,
Thanks for your comment and concern. I have experience in internet marketing so I was able to find a part time job. In fact, I can make it full time, if I wanted to. I found my jobs through Odesk.com and I work from home. My clients are also from US. Your daughter can look into the website and see if she has skills where she can find a job.
